Jenny Nixon has been working to make a difference in people's lives as a University of Nebraska Cooperative Extension Educator. With a personal interest in technology, Jenny has worked to build community and individual awareness and skills in technology among Nebraska citizens and businesses helping them to thrive in the information age by teaching numerous basic computer and Master Navigator courses in Harrison, Crawford, and Chadron. She is also teaching rural entreprenuers how to maximize e-Retailing in our rural environment. Digital Photography and d-Business the e-Bay Way are other courses Jenny is teaching.

Jenny is also excited to teach livestock and crop producers to computerize and then analyze their farm and ranch financial records. Participants say that they save time and money in keeping financial records, are able to produce reports to help in communicating with partners, lenders, and accountants, and they make better management decisions about their operation because of better financial records.

Jenny also serves as the Cooperative Extension Unit Leader for Sioux County. She works with many other individuals and agencies to bring high quality science based educational programs to adults and youth in Nebraska.
