Connie Hancock

Extension IT Educator

Connie Hancock is a UNL Extension Educator focused in community and economic development programming for more than 20 years. Hancock’s area of focus is providing information technology educational programming to communities and businesses in the areas of eCommerce, eGovernment, eAg and Community Capacity Building. She is a member of the National eXtension Entrepreneurial and their Communities Community of Practice and is on the Cheyenne County Technology Committee.

Hancock has taken co-leadership for the eCommerce area of the UNL-Extension technology training programs. Pod casting Across Nebraska was the latest initiative where four pilot communities were trained to create and publish pod casts. Hancock’s main interest lies in helping communities and businesses focus on the New Economy and the impact of technology on economic development.
