Nebraska Rural Institute

The Nebraska Rural Institute is a three-day program featuring educational seminars, technical direction, and important networking opportunities to build leadership skills. The focus is to bring those with an interest in the area of rural community development together to share ideas on how to keep rural communities alive. The Institute is the premier educational event of the Partnership for Rural Nebraska. The PRN was formed in 1995 to creatively address these rural Nebraska issues through collaborative rural development. This partnership of the State of Nebraska, University of Nebraska, the federal government, and community based regional groups shows collaborative commitment to seek rural opportunities and address challenges identified by rural Nebraskans. The Center for Applied Rural Innovation coordinates the activities of the Nebraska Rural Institute.
