Position and organization: Editor of "Rural News Bits," which is produced by the Partnership for Rural Nebraska.
Program Involvement: In 2004 Shirley Lederer took early retirement after working full time for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln for 23 years, most recently as administrative technician for the Center for Applied Rural Innovation (CARI). Shirley continued to serve as the editor of "Bits," working part time from home. She is resigning her position as editor in order to spend more time with her family. Shirley extends her heartfelt thanks to people who have contributed articles, suggestions and comments.
