Nebraska Legislature Online
Search for bills, locate current legislative action and calendars, online news magazine, hearing schedule and agendas, locate your senator/district, information about the unicameral, and a section for students and teachers. Access UniCAM Live!, which brings the floor action of the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature live to your computer using video streaming.

The eBill Book (a free service) allows you to track up to 15 bills simultaneously and (if you choose) receive daily e-mail notifications of activity on your bills of interest. To register for an eBill Book, you will be asked to provide an e-mail address and then choose a password.

Nebraska Department of Economic Development
The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has created a document which allows you to track Legislative Bills in the area of rural community and economic development. The list will be updated daily. For the most up-to-date version, visit the Nebraska Department of Economic Development website.

Tax Increment Financing information is available from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.

Center for Rural Affairs
You'll find here both current legislative developments at the federal and state (primarily Nebraska) level. We also present testimony and action alerts. The site includes Farm Bill Implementation, activity in the Nebraska Legislature, testimony, action alerts, and a news room.

Economic Development Administration
"To lead the federal economic development agenda by promoting innovation and competitiveness, preparing American regions for growth and success in the worldwide economy." The Economic Development Administration (EDA) was established under the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. § 3121), as amended, to generate jobs, help retain existing jobs, and stimulate industrial and commercial growth in economically distressed areas of the United States. EDA assistance is available to rural and urban areas of the Nation experiencing high unemployment, low income, or other severe economic distress.

National Association of Regional Councils
The National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) is the preeminent alliance for fostering regional cooperation and building regional communities. We advocate for regional approaches with federal and state governments; provide training and technical assistance on the latest regional development; and conduct research on timely regional topics.

National Conference of State Legislatures
The National Conference of State Legislatures has received support from the Kellogg Foundation to compile a database on state rural legislation. The database includes legislation on rural economic development, education, health, infrastructure, fiscal issues, land use, housing, safety and criminal justice, and agriculture as it relates to rural development. It also includes legislation related to state rural agencies and institutions. The database may be searched based on bill number, status, or sponsor, as well as keyword, state or topic.

NCSL also has legislation and statute databases on agricultural issues (including biotechnology, agricultural terrorism, farmland protection and organic food) and a database on incentive-based growth management law.

State Health Notes is an eight-page biweekly publication designed to deliver health information to state legislators and legislative staff. Founded in 1979, it has become the premier source for information on state health policy developments. In November 2003, State Health Notes made the transition from print newsletter to online news service. This online newsletter provides readers instantaneous access to current and emerging issues in a concise, easy-to-read format.

Telemedicine Legislation State telemedicine legislation addresses various providers, including physicians, dentists, chiropractors, nurses, and other health professionals. The legislative summary that follows includes telemedicine-related laws; however, it does not include all appropriations bills that fund telemedicine initiatives. View by state.

National Rural Development Partnership
The National Rural Development Partnership acts as a non-partisan forum for identifying, discussing, and acting on issues affecting rural America.
