Rebecca is the Survey Research Manager for CARI. The main survey conducted by CARI is the Nebraska Rural Poll, which is an annual effort to monitor changes in Nebraska’s agriculture and rural community life. In addition, Ms. Vogt has conducted numerous other projects such as policy evaluations, program evaluations and marketing studies. As manager of these projects, Ms. Vogt designs the questionnaires, coordinates the survey mailings, performs the data analysis, interprets the results and writes the reports. She is also involved in presenting survey results to various audiences. She has co-authored many departmental publications, a refereed journal article, and papers for presentation at professional meetings. A native of Brunswick, Nebraska, she holds a B.S. in agribusiness and received her M.S. in survey research and methodology from UNL, a program that is formally linked with the Gallup Organization. She has also completed a certificate program in policy analysis and program evaluation.
