2007 Nebraska Rural Poll Reports

A series of research briefs from the 2007 Nebraska Rural Poll were released on September 24. These research briefs focus on retirement issues in rural Nebraska.

Retirement Plans and Perceptions Among Rural Nebraskans answers the following questions: At what age do rural Nebraskans intend to retire, and will they have sufficient income to do so? What activities do rural Nebraskans expect to be involved in during retirement? Do rural Nebraskans think their quality of life will change for the better or worse in retirement?

Where Do Rural Nebraskans Plan to Retire? examines where rural Nebraskans plan to retire and reasons that are important in deciding where to retire.

Rural Nebraskans and Health Care in Retirement examines the concerns and plans rural Nebraskans have for their health care during retirement.

Rural Nebraskans and Retirement Income examines rural Nebraskans' concerns about their retirement income, how they plan to fund their retirement years and if they plan to leave any of their estate to community organizations and causes.

Rural Nebraskans Working in Retirement examines how many rural Nebraskans are planning to work in retirement and their motivations for continuing to work.
