Allan spent 13 years working for Iowa State University Cooperative Extension before moving back to Nebraska in 2001. He is a native of Saline County, Nebraska. Vyhnalek received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees from the University of Nebraska , Lincoln in Agricultural Education. He taught in high school and post secondary classrooms for eight and one-half years prior to joining Extension. Allan's involvement with CARI is as Information Technology Educator serving with the Community Resource Development Action Team. His current teaching focus is with the curriculums of: Farming with Computer Technology, E-Government, Master Navigator, Global Positioning Systems/Navigation, and E-Commerce. As Unit Leader for Platte County, Allan coordinates Agriculture Education programming for the citizens of the Platte County region and contributes to the Platte County 4-H Program. |
